Rothes (IV30 8SN)

The Role

This position will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination and management of all activities associated with the operation of Rothes and Paul’s Hill Wind Farms.  The role is based at our Operational base at Rothes Wind Farm.

Duties and responsibilities associated with the role include:

  • Manage/maintain site filing system.
  • Maintain site expenditure records and draft site annual budgets.
  • Create Purchase Requisitions on the client finance system.
  • Creation of invoices for Natural Power Services
  • Co-ordinate all operations building facilities management tasks and undertake duties as fire marshal on site.
  • Maintain register for calibrated equipment.
  • Managing, performing and recording PPE inspections.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Deliver site induction presentations.
  • Review contractor competency certificates.
  • Draft monthly site management reports.
  • Undertake monthly Work Management Process (WMP) audits and assist with on Turbine audits/inspections.
  • Attend monthly site progress meetings.
  • Ensure incidents are raised on SHE Assure system and site registers maintained.
  • Assist with incident investigations.
  • Support technical stores stock takes, when required
  • The post-holder will be required to undertake such duties as may reasonably be expected.  All members of staff are expected to be professional, co-operative and flexible within the needs of the post, the department and the Company.
  • Duties of the post could vary from time to time as a result of new legislation, changes in technology or policy.  In this event, appropriate training will be provided.
 
Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Previous experience of working within an engineering and/or operations and maintenance environment.
  • Experience of working with Quality and Environment Management Systems coupled with an awareness of Health, Safety and Environment legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills to enable clear and concise information to be effectively communicated to colleagues, clients and 3rd parties in both written and verbal format.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office with strong IT skills.
  • Due to the nature of the role candidates must be comfortable working at height and reasonably fit to undertake the tasks required within the role.

Desirable:

  • IOSH qualified/ISO 9001/ISO 14001
  • Currently qualified to work at height
  • Working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of wind farm equipment
